In December I had a move from my apartment to storage. The team was great on the day of the move. The day before I picked up sons boxes so I could do some prepavking. Everything was smooth and I am very happy with their service I give them 5 stars!

Amazing, Personalized, Experienced, Professional and Friendly Service. You will not be disappointed. This is a very belated but heartfelt thank you and endorsement for 495 Movers, who handled our long distance move from Northern VA to Southport, NC in late October and early November. Our initial solicitation for moving service estimates was sent out to several companies on pretty short notice. We heard from several companies that gave prices over the phone with added costs for boxes, wrapping, and assorted “what ifs” scenarios. Tom Yospe, sales manager for 495 Movers, contacted us the same day via phone to ascertain the volume and scope of our move, which initially involved our small house and two other large storage units in two different locations. Even after giving me an estimate, Tom again called to see if he might come by our house in Annandale to view first-hand what our move would entail. After visiting with us, talking with us and getting to know our personal circumstances and concerns, he discovered that we also had a well packed 10x10 garden shed storing heavy racks and cabinets of mechanics tools and garden/household supplies and equipment that we planned to move separately by making several trips back and forth from VA to NC by ourselves. Tom counseled and showed how we could save money, time, and wear and tear on our backs and joints if his team moved it all for us and gave us a flat rate to pack and move everything we planned to take. 495 Movers was recommended to me and I can't say enough good things about them. They arrived promptly on moving day (even a few minutes early!) and were incredibly patient as we had a few neighbors move their cars off the street. They were helpful during the actual moving process, they were efficient and careful with my stuff and everything went as smoothly as possible. I would highly recommend them and I plan on using them again on any future moves.

If you need to accomplish an impossible move within impossible time period with a national holiday in between, then 495movers are your type of movers! Come hell or high water they will complete everything! We had a lot of moving parts during the office move in Maryland and a lot of different people to deal with. Their fast response and professionalism made the move possible after all! Special thanks to Josh - constant phone calls, emails, texts to make sure that everything is done before the deadline. Being myself in another State and another time zone that was incredibly helpful. We are still truly impressed because we knew the challenges and obstacles of this move. If you need a miracle, call them right away. They will make it happen!

In the past few weeks, our company used 495 Movers on 2 different occasions, The first move was from an office location to employee's home. The second move was from our Rockville Office to our home office in Hunt Valley, MD. Both moves had different movers and went great. I think this was one of the best moves I've handled. The movers did an outstanding job packing up items and furniture. I've never seen a company to protect items like 495 Movers. The completed the job in a fast past, didn't take breaks and did everything that was asked. The were very professional, pleasant and great team to work with.

From estimate to move in working with 495 movers was great. They came out within a day to provide the estimate. They were competitive as far as pricing, and they provided the moving boxes which was a great bonus. We had a few hiccups with the move in date and they were accommodating and made the changes without complaint or issue. They dropped off the moving boxes the day after I signed a contract, and were always available for any questions I had. The day of the move they arrived on time with a crew that was friendly and professional. They had us out of our old office in no time at all, and moved into our new location just as quickly. Everything arrived safe and without damage. I cannot sing their praises enough. There are some really shady characters in the moving business, some companies will quote a super low price and then hold your stuff hostage until you pay all their extra fees. There was none of that working with 495 movers. All the fees and charges were laid out in the initial estimate. There were no unpleasant surprises. They were efficient, friendly, professional, and honest. It is my hope that I never have to move our office again, but if we do I will be using these guys again. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with them.
