Great moving company
My husband and I are very pleased with 495 movers service. Tom, the sales manager, and Antonio and his team (movers crew) did an excellent job a couple weeks ago when we moved. They arrived on time and protected very well all the furniture. Nothing was damaged. They made sure that everything was placed in the correct spot. I will always recommend their service!

I am more than pleased with my experience! The movers were punctual (they called and offered to come right when they were finished with their earlier job rather than waiting for our appointment), efficient, and courteous. They worked hard for hours and were patient and careful with disassembly and reassembly. Highly recommend!

We had a potentially complicated move with our moving from one house into two...and they handled the two-day process with professionalism, punctuality, and lots of care and compassion. From the day that we received a quote from Josh to the time we finished, they made it as easy a move as possible. I highly recommend them!
A Pleasant Experience
Our inner office move was made so much easier by using 495 Movers. The gentlemen they sent were knowledgeable and accommodating. We had a lot to do, and they did every piece of it with care and attention. We would definitely use them again if needed.
Kind, Thoughtful, and Helpful
I had decided not to use any movers at all because I (foolishly) thought I could do it myself, and while I was clearly struggling trying to figure out how to fit all my things in the truck a gentleman from my neighbors moving crew (495 movers) came over and talked me through it. He spent less than 5 minutes with us because he really wanted to get back to his client, but on the basis of that time alone I would recommend these movers to anyone. He was kind, thoughtful, and considerate of both a stranger and his client and he was able to size up the situation, gently communicate his thoughts, and help us figure out the right action plan in just a moment. I honestly never thought a moving crew would display such empathy, it was incredible, and so generous during a pandemic of all times. Again I couldn't recommend this service more, I will be sure to call them the next time I move, and if you're looking for a pain free move you should too.
Wonderful Service
The team of three movers were mindful, kind, extremely hard-working, and highly-professional. Free moving supplies provided at warehouse or via week-day delivery was great. My new favorite moving company! HUGE truck!

Highly recommend 495 Movers!
We can't say enough about Gustavo and his team! We had a large two day move. Add to that close to 100 degree temps and a series of thunderstorms making loading a challenge. The team was on time both days, and I have never seen a team work as hard as they did. I remember at one point one of the movers had put a blanket over a couch and was running, yes running, around it with the tape! We have been in our new location two weeks now, and have yet to uncover anything damaged while unpacking. I will say our quote was not the cheapest, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for! In fact, they did come in several hours under the quote due to the speed they worked at. Would highly recommend 495 Movers for your DC metro area move!
Great Experience
I not only moved during Covid, I also had a horrible flare up of an autoimmune condition. It wasn't pretty. I was originally going with a company with a similar name. I was told by 495, that I wouldn't be happy. I wasn't. I called 495 back and scheduled They arrived promptly. They were courteous and there were no "hidden" or unexpected fees. They also agreed to take my big houseplants, which endeared them to me. They had to repack some things and they didn't break a thing. They worked hard from the time they arrived. I had a LOT of boxes, so it took time. I'm very happy that I went with them and would enthusiastically recommend them. You won't be disappointed. The office staff is wonderful too. GREAT job guys.
